Meet the Face Behind the Style

 

I founded The Dapper Style back in 2011 with my friend Marko. We often talked about the compliments we each got on our sense of style and those guys would say they wished they knew how to look better. Magazines only showed menswear that was over the top, expensive and hard to find outside of NYC. We decided to launch our blog to show guys how to develop a classic style that didn’t have to be difficult or expensive for people that want to look better than the rest. Real clothes for real people; not runway fashion for the 1%.

 

The basic thought is to build a wardrobe that includes classic, realistic items that are an investment, so you don’t have to keep buying trend style. Once you have a classic wardrobe you can try a little harder and look a lot better. Who will you meet when you leave your place? You might meet the guy or girl of your dreams, a new friend, or the perfect person to invest in your startup idea. You don’t have to be formal, but you can look like you care about yourself.

 

It’s easy to put on sweats and a tee but too casual can look sloppy or like you’re going to work out instead of eating out. Just like a good workout, when you take time to look better, you will feel better plus have more confidence. You made careful choices about where you are going out and the people you have in your life, so make the effort to look like you care about yourself when you are out there.

 

I am doing a Dapper reboot on my own to share some classic styles from our past and updated looks for the present. I look forward to visiting and shooting with some of the Dapper Folks from the past.
